I have a 17 years old son who is a senior at Millburn High School.
- How long have you lived in Short Hills/Millburn/Livingston and what made you decide to live here?
We have lived in Millburn for more than 10 years now, and we moved from Atlanta GA based on our friend’s recommendation that this was the right town for our family to build, connect, develop, and mature with the hardworking community.
3.Tell us about your business and what other local things you are involved in! And how did you get started?
Living in the Millburn/Short Hills Livingston area, I have learned the value of attention that this district places onto raising their kids. As a mom, I understand how challenging it may be to manage your child’s development within this competitive academic environment. But as an esthetician who has helped many people boost their level of confidence by improving their facial appearance for over 15 years, I have realized the importance for teens to manage their skincare. Our TeenSkin salon specializes in facial procedures and interactive engaging lessons. While our teens’ great concern is academic performance, their self-esteem and motivation depend on physical appearance. How to navigate toward correct skin care treatment? What to use and what not to use together? How to use all these modern technologies?
4.Favorite thing to do when you need “me time”?
I spend my “me time Short Hills’s Greenwood Garden! It’s a very beautiful and peaceful garden that helps me reenergize my mind and explore nature in new and unique ways.
5.Favorite place for dinner with kids?
My favorite place for dinner is at home. We shop at our local Farmers Markets and cook our own meals.
6.Most enjoyable place to hang out?
My favorite place to hang out is Downtown Millburn. Popping into boutiques, coffee shops, and beauty salons, I enjoy the little things that make every woman happy.
7.How do you balance your career and being a mom?
I think it is not hard to balance my career and being a mom. As soon as you learn to be a mom, you know how to work hard and enjoy it.
8.Best advice you have gotten from a mom?
I am always paying attention to other mom’s advices. A lot of my everyday life is based on other mom’s recommendations! The best part of our mom community is to give advice and have advice.
- One thing people would be surprised to know about you…
I cannot believe I have a cat! I love dogs! I thought no one ever can convince me for any other pet. I easily said “yes” when my husband and the son asked for a cat.
