Where are you from originally and how long have you lived in Essex County?

I am originally from Long Island, New York. I have lived in Essex County for about 30 years.

Child(ren) and Age(s)?

31- and 27-year-old twins.

Are you involved in a business venture, a local organization, a creative endeavor, or in the corporate world? Please share!

Yes! I founded my jewelry business -The Eye Candy Project – because my son lost vision in one eye due to an accident. I proudly support research to bring sight back to life. The Eye Candy Project is a boutique jewelry company specializing in handmade street-chic and boho-chic jewelry via hosted trunk shows, personal styling, and up-cycling treasured pieces.

One thing people would be surprised to know about you…

I am a total sci-fi geek!

Favorite things to do in town/Essex County?

I love to go for a walk around the reservoir or hike the trails in the South Mountain Reservation. I wish that I could do it more often.

What is your favorite restaurant town/in Essex County?

Right now…. Lithos in Livingston. They have been amazing during Covid.
