Introduce Yourself! (Name, What Essex County Town you live in etc.)
Hi! I’m Jenna Graub, I live in Livingston.
Kids? How many? Ages?
My daughter, Dara, is 6 and my son, Alex, is 3.
Where are you from originally and how long have you lived in Essex County?
I grew up in Livingston, then left for college (go Terps!) and moved back here after graduation. I dragged my husband, a Philly boy, this way. I love how the area nurtured my childhood, and want the same for my kids. My parents still live here and it’s been amazing to see them thrive as grandparents.
Are you involved in a business venture, a local organization, a creative endeavor, or in the corporate world? Please share!
I am so proud to launch The PEAK Strategy! We are a hub of education services for families as they navigate K-12 school systems. Our School Psychologist offers paperwork review (IEPs, evaluations, etc.) and gives feedback on how to advocate for your child(ren). Our Executive Function Coach understands learners as individuals and teaches strategies tailored specifically to them and their needs. Finally, our Post-Secondary Planner works with families as they look to life after high school. We work with all types of students and families because we completely customize each plan for our time together.

What is your favorite restaurant town/in Essex County?
It’s a tie between Thavma and Viva Guacamole; and of course, The Ritz Diner!
Best advice you have gotten?
My parents taught me: do the right thing. It’s not always easy or popular, but this has served me well both personally and professionally.

Saturday Night by Whigfield never fails!
Favorite Piece of Clothing?
A camo print tee I grabbed as an impulse purchase while waiting to check out at Target, one month after my daughter was born. It turned out to fit really well, which is no easy feat for a postpartum body. I basically lived in it while shedding my baby weight. And even though my body is different now, the shirt still somehow looks good on, and did at every size in-between. When I wear it I feel comfortable and confident, and it reminds me of those postpartum days.
